We had our first Pine Wood Derby this week! Danny and Morgan worked on getting his car "tuned" to perfection for several days. They went over to Mom Beck's and used her scroll saw to get the aero-dynamic shape they wanted and then got some metallic
paint so that it would shine like lightening. I think they named the car "Red Lightening"! Morgan had a lot of fun at the races and he even earned his Bobcat badge. He's really enjoying scouts and to help matters, he has some awesome den leaders! So, thanks to those wonderful leaders for making scouts so much fun for him and a little easier on mom. :) Love that car, Morgan!! Red Lightening is #1!!!
